02 Jan Midnight before Christmas

The year has been filled with my colours of the rainbow: jade, turquoise, lime, magenta, saffron.
The year is almost completed and I come back to a calm centre. All is flickering soft white light. No colour – just the pureness of white.

Gazing upwards towards infinity the ancient curves of Cathedral stone embrace me. The space calms, restores, softens. The light surrounds me womb-like. Fully present in this moment the music breaks: ‘O Magnum Mysterium’. Sensations fill my eyes, my ears, my heart with joy.
The music soars.
Far off necklaces of jewelled Christmas lights cast themselves in my mind into paint, light and colour.

Out of white; colour.
Out of peace; inspiration.
